Have a look at more than 100 years of Fulda - German High Technology

Hit by several air raids the Fulda factory is almost completely destroyed.

The first permit to re-open the factory refers only to the manufacturing of rubber goods and rubber material for the repair of tyres and tubes. The re-launch of the tyre production is initially not foreseen however employees convince the owners of the Fulda 'Werke' (plant) to restart the tyre production. Finally, Series production of tyres restart 1st of August 1946.

As one of the first advertising campaigns Fulda distributes 9000 tinplate Fulda logos. From now on every buyer can easily identify where to buy his Fulda tyres from. Today the items have become a wanted collectors item.
