Самым популярным ответом в недавнем опросе на тему "шесть метров" стал вариант "длина двух автомобилей". Так ответил 51% испанцев, 42% жителей Великобритании. Польша и Германия заняли третье место с результатом 39% и 38% соответственно, Италия расположилась следом с 30%. Возможно средняя длина автомобиля в Италии меньше, чем в других странах Европы! Другие оригинальные ответы включали в себя следующие варианты: рост жирафа; ширина футбольных ворот; ширина моего дома и расстояние, которое преодолевает улитка за час.


Germans choose love over money, according to Fulda survey 19-2-2007

Contrary to general expectations, romance is clearly more important to Germans than money, according to a recent Fulda tyre survey. Given an extra €80 per year, 70% of Germans would prefer to go out for a romantic dinner with their partner rather than invest their money. Germans also proved that they are more likely to buy lottery tickets (four per cent) rather than donate to charity (two per cent). Across the whole of Europe, only the Spanish (76%) beat the Germans in the romance stakes, followed by the UK (66%), Italy (62%) and then Poland (34%).

Spaniards are the most ”love oriented’ citizens in Europe, according to a survey that asked respondents of five European countries what they associated most with the words ‘long lasting’.

The British, it seems, have two passions: romance and gambling! In a survey commissioned by Fulda, 66% of British people claim that they would take their partner out for a romantic dinner if they were given an extra €80 to spend a year, while 11% said they would spend the extra money on lottery tickets.

Italians, it seems, are far more generous than their European neighbours! According to a recent Fulda tyre survey, 11% of Italians would donate to charity if they were given an extra €80 to spend per year, compared to only five per cent of people in the UK, three per cent in Poland, two per cent in Germany, and only one per cent in Spain.

The Spanish are the continent’s undisputed romantics, according to a recent survey carried out in five European countries by Fulda. Given an extra €80 to spend, more than three quarters (76%) of those surveyed in Spain would take their partners out for a nice meal. This was closely followed by the Germans (70%), the British (66%), the Italians (62%) and the Poles (34%). Overall, however, the Poles (45%) would rather invest the money than spend it on their significant other.
