Have a look at more than 100 years of Fulda - German High Technology

The new Fulda Diadem features lower aspect ratios and rounded shoulders.

The special vehicle is equipped with plexi-glass wheel arches, so that Fulda engineers can observe the tyre behaviour during the ride. The bus is painted in the Fulda colours red and yellow and is commonly know as the 'FULDA BLITZ'

The share of capital of Fulda is taken over by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, from Akron/Ohio.

The first series of FULDA TV spots feature 6 films of 20 seconds, showing the performance of Fulda tyres in different though weather conditions. Each spot ends with the Fulda slogan 'Fulda Reifen greifen und halten!' (Fulda tyres grip and last)

Fulda produces special tyres for the Mercedes 600 Pullman. For the standard edition the care features the 9.00 H 15 Diadem Nylon with a ply rate of 6PR (6 layers of nylon). For the armoured edition, weighting around 10 tons, Fulda offeres a tyre with a ply rate of 10 PR. (Note that at that time a normal car tyre had a maximum ply rate of 4PR)
