The new Fulda ultra high performance tyre, Carat Exelero, becomes the first tyre in the industry to be tested and certified by the German independent TUV institute for its product quality. TUV compares the new Exelero against its main competitors and concludes that overall the Carat Exelero is the best tyre in the test.
Based on the fact that in 1939 Fulda owned a high-speed test car based on a Maybach SW38, Fulda together with German luxury car manufacturer Maybach decides to rebuild a car. The result of the German High Technology cooperation is the Fulda Maybach Exelero, a prototype coupé with 700PS able to drive at more than 350km/h.
Facing the growing importance of the Internet and supporting the international development of the brand in europe, Fulda introduces a new corporate website. The new Fulda website is available in 14 different languages in more than 16 countries.
